About Us

We would like to introduce ourselves to you as the owners of Aiken Gymnastics, Inc. We are Draha and Radek Kriz. We are originally from
Czechoslovakia. We have been coaches in the United States, as well as in Czechoslovakia.

Our accomplishments include:

*Draha was on the Czechoslovakian National Team that competed in the Olympic Games held in Montreal in 1976. The team placed fifth in the
world.

*Radek a coach for the National Team of Czechoslovakia.

*Draha and Radek produced several national champions for Czechoslovakia. The best known of these gymnasts is Hana Ricna who was a
silver medalist on the balance beam in the World Championships held in Budapest, Hungary in 1983. She was also a bronze medalist on bars
in the Montreal World Championships of 1985.

Draha and Radek started Aiken Gymnastics in 1993. Through out the years they have coached individual and Team US National Champions in
Level 8, 9 and 10. Together they have coached numerous Level 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10 Individual and Team State Champions in South Carolina.
Draha and Radek coached the best gymnast from Aiken, Grace Taylor. She began training with them at the age of four, and became the first
gymnast from South Carolina to reach the prestigious Elite Level. Grace also represented the United States in a competition against Japan.
She won the Friendship Cup in 2006 which is an international competition, and later received a full gymnastics scholarship to the University of
Georgia. As a sophomore, Grace helped lead the UGA Gymdogs to the 2008 NCAA National Championship Title. Grace was also awarded the
Individual NCAA National Championship on balance beam.

Draha and Radek are members in good standing of USA gymnastics and are Safety Certified by the USAG.

Draha, Radek and their staff are dedicated to excellence in the sport of gymnastics and a healthy and friendly atmosphere.

Aiken Gymnastics is conveniently located adjacent to the Aiken Sports Complex and offers the best gymnastics training facility in South
Carolina. Our equipment in our 12,000 square-foot gym meets the specifications of the international gymnastics federation. Aiken Gymnastics
has a resi-pit for tumbling, uneven bars, and vault dismounts. Our gym has a 50 foot in ground tumbling tramp and a custom 80 foot tumbling
floor. Fully carpeted and air-conditioned, our facility provides a pleasant environment for gymnasts of all ages.
